This is a special time in Chattanooga’s history.  More than $3 billion will be invested in new construction over the next three years.  These facilities will bring millions of dollars in new personal income and in local tax revenue.  This investment will put our neighbors to work.

Notable Opportunities:

• Wacker Chemie will employ 500 people
• Volkswagen will create 2,000 jobs and generate almost $12 billion in income over the next 30 years
• Chicago Bridge & Iron will give 350 highly-skilled people lucrative jobs
• In addition, each of these companies will attract supply chain companies that will build and hire near them. This will mean thousands of additional construction and long-term jobs for the region.
